No impediment to marriage certificate

If you plan to marry abroad, a Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage is required. It can be obtained from local registry office after giving a 21 days’ notice to marry. The certificate may need to have an Apostille attached to verify that it is a legitimate and authentic document.
The cost of translating a Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage is £25 or £35 if the document has an Apostille attached (£25 + £10 additional charge for the Apostille), and the standard turnaround time is 3 working days once the payment has cleared.
At the Polish registry office the original document must be presented as well as the translation, however, according to Polish regulations, the documents are not attached. The translation is sent by post and by email on the request of the client.
